I must warn you, upon listening to the first couple of songs, it's gonna be hard to convince you that it's not Marvin Gaye. His phrasing, his cadence, soft spoken words all but mimic The Prince Of Soul but Snoop Dogg's latest discovery, October London, has a unique way of bringing it present day without seeming like a gimic. He has definitely studied the greats like Marvin, Smokey and Sam Cooke and in doing so, found his voice. Faith Evans also joins on a song in an almost Tammi Terrell kinda way.
